At the island:
We provide for you an increasing number of free-time activities directly on the holiday island. With the help of our virtual map you will be able to discover the island and its opportunities.

You have the opportunity to borrow a barbeque for your individual barbeque enjoyment. The lovely arranged barbecue area with seating accommodations is waiting for you to use it. Just talk to us!

Children’s Playground:
Our playground leaves nothing to be desired. From the gigantic trampoline in the sandbox, over the slide, to the swing and with the ropeway from one end of the playground to the other. Here, little ones have the possibilities to romp around as much as they want, get to know new friends and to give their parents a minute’s rest.

Football ground:
Guests loving to play football can use the small football ground. Here you can find easily like-minded people for a little outdoor match.

Table tennis:
Three table tennis tables can be found, protected from bad weather, underneath the shower houses. If you have forgotten your bat or ball, you can borrow it at our reception.

Restfulness:
If you need some time for yourself you can use the official path to the southern located island tip. Around 300 m away from the campsite you can enjoy the attractive Mosel landscape with its vineyards and forested slopes, watch the passing ships or just relax.

Swimming fun:
Don’t want to go to the swimming pool? No problem. You have the opportunity to go swimming in the Mosel, or the Treiser Laach to be more correct. The access is eased by stairs. Away from shipping traffic you can safely swim and explore the “Laach” with an air mattress or a rubber raft without a motor.

Fishing:
How could it be different – the Mosel is a paradise for fishing. The chances to harvest a beautiful chub, a perch or an eel are very good. With the right ability – after all is this river one of the biggest in Germany – harvesting a carp, an asp or a pikeperch is also possible.

By the way, the local anglers are recently complaining about the increasing population of catfish and the resulting decrease of whitefish. Maybe this is your chance to land a big one! Fishing licenses are available at the watergate of Müden, around 3 km away from the holiday island. You can get further information at our reception. Fishing in the harbour is not allowed from the beginning of April until the end of October.

The “Treiser Laach” is a protected area in springtime. This means that fishing is prohibited every year from March 15th until June 15th. The position of the two mentioned areas can you find on the general map. We can recommend for anglers hungry for success the trout pond in Korweiler (ca. 18 km away). Here you will harvest a trout in all likelihood.
