Vineyard Gilles in Treis:
The vineyard Gilles offers excellent Riesling wines with the flavours dry, medium dry and sweet. The wine grows on the sunny slopes of the Mosel and is tended by the family establishment. Because of a minor cutting in spring and a consequent thinning out of the grapes by the beginning of ripeness the volume of output is only between 60 to 70 hectolitre per hectare. Because of a as late as possible harvesting, a careful grape processing and a controlled fermentation is the quality of the wine and sparkling wine on the highest level and realizes great results by wine awards. Vineyard Knaup in Treis:
With a wine tasting session in the old vault cellar introduces the vineyard Knaup the world of Moselrieslings to you. You gain insight to the work in the vineyards and in the wine cellar. All wine develops in wooden barrels. You can taste sweet and medium dry wines in different quality categories like Kabinett, Spätlese (late vintage) and Auslese (superior). With the wine you get bread.

You want to experience to Mosel in a different way? Then we can recommend a covered wagon trip through the vineyards of the beautiful Mosel landscape combined with a glass of a good Moselriesling. A little break will be made at the Zilles chapel high above the Mosel valley. There you will be served spit roast and potato salad.

Wine shop Hambrech in Karden:
If you want to experience the art of distilling and of winegrowing, the wine shop Hambrech invites you for a visit at their family establishment. Descend to the historical “canon” wine cellar. Discover the history of 1000 years of the wine shop and the monastery in Karden.

A familiar and competent tour through the distillery, the historical “canon” wine cellar with a little wine museum and a medieval mantelpiece collection, as well as samples from the distillery are waiting for you.

Boat trips:
Experience the most beautiful parts of our landscape with a boat trip on the Mosel. You will witness magnificent views by a trip on a Mosel boat, be it during the day or with music and dance at night when the lights of the castles, villages and cities are reflected in the water. On board you can find everything for your well-being. Let the cabin crew pamper you with a glass of wine or with coffee and cake. This trip will become an unforgettable experience.
