Berth Rules Marina
1. The “Mosel Boating Center Yachthafen GmbH & Co. KG” as leaseholder of the boat harbour and of all the other leased areas on the island, as well as the Waterways and Shipping Office are kept indemnified against all liability. This indemnity against liability refers to the use of the harbour installations, other berth possibilities and the use of all other facilities.
2. Access to the harbour installations is only permitted after registration. Arriving guests and visitors have to register first at the registration desk in the restaurant. The person in charge is authorised by official regulations to inspect the identification card of every guest and visitor of the marina. Every guest has to check out at the registration desk before leaving the harbour finally. Guests are only allowed to enter the marina area in company of such an authorised person.
3. Sanitary facilities have to be left in clean condition. Children under 6 years only have entrance to these facilities in company of an adult.
4. Tidiness and cleanness are, of course, the responsibility of all users of the marina area. All facilities have to be handled with care. The person in charge is authorised to banish people from the area and to file a charge in case of intentional damage and larceny. It is not allowed to break off branches from trees and hedges.
5. he management’s/person in charge’s instructions have to be obeyed, especially concerning berthing at the landing stage.
6. Dogs of any size must be kept on leash 24 hours.
7. Litter of any kind belongs strictly in the specific litter bins. Electrical equipment, car tyres, batteries etc. are hazardous waste. It is not allowed to dispose hazardous waste at our place.
8. Quiet times in the harbour are from 01 p.m. till 03 p.m. and from 10 p.m. till 08 a.m. During these times TVs, hi-fi systems and similar appliances have to be turned down to a moderate volume. In interest of all guests, we have to ask you to avoid loud conversations during these times. Boat engine noises have to be technically limited as much as possible. It is not allowed to remove noise-reducing parts. At the landing stage it is not allowed to leave the engine running for a longer time in neutral. People seriously violating the rules of quiet times can be banished from the area.
9. Even during the day disturbance of the peace is not allowed.
10. Car and boat washing at the car park is not allowed.
11. Landing stages have to be kept clear to provide access to the boats.
12.Please use only sufficient and high quality rigging to moor your boat.
13. Children are not allowed to row or sail in the harbour.
14. Before leaving the facilities all electrical heating devices have to be turned off. All water taps have to be immediately turned off after use. Toilets and rooms for washing have to be left in clean condition and the doors have to be kept closed.
15. The parking permission granted by the landlord only applies to motor vehicles of the tenant. The use of the car park occurs at one’s own risk. Additional motor vehicles are only permitted with permission and on payment of a fee.
16. Transportable fuel tanks have to be taken out of the boat in order to refill them. This shall prevent production of explosive gases in the boat.
17. It is prohibited to pour oil, oil residues, diesel or petrol in the harbour. People contaminating the harbour will be reported for environmental pollution.
18. The management/person in charge exercises the householder’s rights. They are allowed to deny the accommodation of people or to banish people from the harbour, if this is necessary to keep order or in the interest of the other guests.
19. Violation of the rules of fire prevention and environmental protection authorise the landlord to impose an immediate harbour ban and instant dismissal.
20. Barbecues and open fire is only permitted in the provided barbecue area or in the campfire site. In all other cases you have to get the permission of the harbour/ground keeper.
21.It is prohibited to stop or park vehicles of any kind in front of the boathouse in the direction of the island tip.
